• Back from vacation

  We went hiking in Yosemite National Park and it was 5 blissful days! I didn't have access to emails or phone so it was nice to focus on just having a good time. Our carriers came in handy and we passed out quite a few business cards. Only a few sales a day and not too many phone calls or emails to respond to. It still took two days to catch up, but now I'm all caught up with shipments and correspondence I believe. Now it's just a matter of all these new products piled up waiting to get their turn in the store! Over the next few weeks we will be adding all the EllaRoo products I haven't carried yet, Mamma's Milk pouches in three styles, lots of Wise Woman in stock ready to ship, new cxd baby slings in new fabrics and prints, Bundles of Luv Signature slings, TONs of new Hotslings prints, and new AngelPack and FreeHand Mei Tais! These are all sitting patiently in boxes - I just need to add them to the site.On their way are 60 gorgeous Gypsy Mama Batik Gauze wraps, 100 Hug-a-bubs, 50 Storchs, over 30 Moby, and I have to refill my inventory of CuddlyWraps and will soon be ordering Didymos. Also, the Miguel Inspired Originals (MIOs) are finished and will be on their way from Mexico! You may also now order all colors of Peanut Shells, I just have to add the color swatches and new pictures to the site. We also have other new products joining us in the store for August/September. I updated my Hotslings swatch page, so if you see anything there you like, most likely it is in stock ready to ship, I just have to add them to the inventory so they will show up as In Stock. Check them out on the Hotslings Fabric Swatch page! Not related to babywearing, but I do have more Glamourmom bras and tanks in more colors and sizes to add to the site as well. • 4th of July "Vacation"

  I gave myself a vacation this weekend by turning all advertising off and it took awhile to taper off but today sales were very slow. Either that or the fact that it is a holiday slowed the usualy sales. It was slow enough for me to catch a breath - take a MUCH NEEDED nap, open up some boxes that had been piling up, count inventory, and add a few new things to the site that have just been sitting around. The customer service reps were wondering why traffic to the store has tapered. A record no phone calls at all for the past few days has been nice! Hardly any support emails... I'm looking forward to one more lazy day tomorrow before starting up shipping again on Tuesday. :) I think everybody that ordered a Patapum or ERGO at the last minute got them by the holiday weekend if they wanted it. That was a mad rush for me, let me tell you! This was just in time as my DH is in crunch time with his project and can't even tear away from the computer all weekend, and he leaves for work in just a few hours for the week. Oh how I wish I could afford to hire him on to help me! New products include... FINALLY I added the Babywearing book by Maria Blois , Little Gems nursing necklaces, although I have to add all the pictures and update my inventory to display what is available for immediate delivery... new Hotslings HEMP pouches - super soft and ultra comfortable... new FreeHand Onbuhimos in Lavender Willow with plum, embroidered straps and Curry Dahlias... Of course Cooper had to order all the new FreeHand Onbuhimos, I hope she shares a picture! Also just in are FreeHand Mei Tais in a non Amy Butler design - I had requests for those of you who didn't want flowers, so check out the Indigo Pueblo Spirals design on your choice of black or natural straps. And I finally got to add the beautiful and comfortable Bundles of Luv elite line of slings, although I have yet to add the Signature line or take pictures of them in action.
