• Some new Product Photos - FreeHand brocades, Patapum, and cxd baby slings

  Our FreeHands came today! Of course, this was my first shipment of 3 orders I made in the past month, so most of the Amy Butler prints are already sold. I'll get more next week though! We did get in some beautiful brocades - my favorite is a deep red. My husband picked out a pretty pink for those of you who are feminine types. :) You can see pictures on the FreeHand product page: http://store.attachedtobaby.com/detail.aspx?id=74 For those of you who had ordered your FreeHands, they were all shipped out today and I sent you a little gift for your patience. One of my goals is to ship same day (if ordered before 3pm), so the backordered Mei Tais are something I will plan for better in the future to not occur again. I think I have about 30 or more coming in the next week or so. We took some pictures of the new Patapums that were just in, and some of our cxd baby slings. • Coming soon - Solarveil Boopa Pakkas!

  I just made my order for 10 Solarveil Boopa Pakkas. These will be great for summer, and will protect your baby's delicate skin with the protective Solarveil and the hood is a unique feature for additional protection. I'll be offering them in Khaki and Seafoam! The Patapums arrived today, I knew they looked just like an ERGO, but didn't realize they almost exactly like an ERGO. A nice soft carrier option for $25 less than the ERGO, especially if you don't mind not having the pockets and hood. I think my husband will love it, he's a big ERGO Baby Carrier fan. The Solarveil TaylorMade slings have been added to the site. I plan to promote these very soon, so hurry and make your order of the 5 I have in stock before they sell out! It takes a few weeks to get new ones in. If you'd like to see additional colors other than Khaki, let me know. I will be announcing a cool new feature for the store very soon! • In-stock next week - Patapums and TaylorMade Solarveils!

  My TaylorMade Solarveils should be in by this weekend! Just in time for summer and I get to try out my first Solarveil! I also made my order for Patapums - we'll be getting 20 in - half in Khaki and half in Blue. I can't wait for those, I think I'll get alot of use out of a Patapum. Also, it looks like Attached to Baby will indeed by carrying new lines of Mei Tais very soon! Based on customer/member feedback, I think one of the unique features that sets Attached to Baby apart (besides the extensive sling selection) could be the distinctive fabrics we offer in the different slings. I'll work on providing custom fabrics - but you the members must let me know what you're looking for! What kind of style are you - the Attached to Baby community member and customer... • Wonderoos and Wonder-Fulls order

  For those of you using cloth diapers - Wonderoos is one of the most popular pocket diapers. And Wonder-Fulls is my favorite insert for pocket diapers. I placed my initial order for both of them, so I should be getting them in the store very soon! I just talked with Kim Ormsby, maker of Wonder-Fulls and she estimated I should be receiving them perhaps by the first week of May. I've also been inquiring into adding a few more babywearing products. I'm looking into more Mei Tais and soft pack carriers. If you have any requests, let me know! I may place an order for a soft pack carrier similiar to the ERGO but at a lower price, without all the bells and whistles, yet still a good carrier. I'm looking into more Mei Tais, currently I offer two brands - FreeHand and EllaRoo. Some of you may have noticed strange things with the site over the weekend and the first part of the week. I attempted to move the site, but couldn't get it to work properly so I moved it back. I'll be getting my own dedicated server soon. I have to plan for the time when this community is 10,000 members (my 2006 goal) and everyone is uploading pictures and surfing the forums. And of course my store has to be top-notch performance too. • New FreeHand order

  I quickly sold out of my previous FreeHand order so I ordered 10 more. I wish I had the funds to get a hundred all at once, lol. Check out the new fabrics and contact me if you'd like me to set one aside for you. I already am down to 8 out of that 10. Or you can order as a backorder from the site, I enabled that option. Coming this week will be a few new pouches - the Peanut Shell! Of course I get to test it all out. This was a spontaneous order so I only ordered 5 so I'll add the details tomorrow and you can order them before they're sold out. Next time I hope to order much more! I am thinking of ordering more Hotslings this week. Kristen just got back from her trip and I got to see a sneak preview of her 6 new fabrics, which should be ready in a month or so. But for now I'm thinking of ordering Hotslings in more sizes and the Pool Pouch, so let me know if there's any colors/patterns or specific sizes you want me to order. I'm going to order more sizes so everyone should be able to find something they like! I just designed my first business cards. I got a few quick ones at Kinkos but there were a few minor things that didn't turn out well. So I redid them and this time ordered from the Internet and of course got a much better deal. So next time you order, you'll be seeing a few business cards to pass around. I list all the baby carrier brands I carry so if someone likes your carrier, you will know where to send them! • New Products lined up

  I will be bringing on some exciting new products - a new pouch with a pocket for one. Details to come as soon as I finalize the order! This product isn't new but a definite must-have for summer! TaylorMade Solarveil slings in Khaki color will soon be added. These Solarveil slings are light-weight, breathable, open knit weave blocks 70-80% of the harmful UVA/UVB sun rays to protect your precious baby. We also currently have in stock TaylorMade water mesh slings, they may go quickly so if you don't have a water sling, either of the TaylorMade Solarveil or Water mesh will be fantastic, as well as the cxd baby Splasher sling. Based on sales this week, its obvious some people have caught on that we carry Hug-a-bubs wraps with free, fast shipping! No need to wait for these wonderful wraps to ship from Australia. I will have to make another order soon, as shipments will take up to 4 weeks to arrive. Also based on interest of site visitors, I can tell we have a lot of Hotsling love! Kristen the WAHM, owner of Hotslings is traveling this week and is picking out new fabrics. I can't wait to see them and carry them in the Attached to Baby store. • FreeHand Mei Tais just flew out the door!

  Like I said before, the FreeHand Mei Tais were so popular, they were the best sellers this past week. While we didn't expect more than a few sales, we had a steady order of FreeHand sales and the last one of the Amy Butler Ginger Bliss fabric just shipped out today! Luckily, Kaire from FreeHand baby is a wonderful and friendly WAHM and I coordinated with her to order more. I picked out the same Amy Butler Ginger Bliss pattern in Blue Green Sun Dahlias, as well as a new Amy Butler pattern, and two new Silk Brocades that I believe are truly stunning. As soon as the order is finalized, I can post pictures of the swatches and if anyone is interested in these new fabrics for the FreeHand Mei Tais, they can notify me to "hold them" from inventory in case they sell out quickly. Thanks to those new members who have posted in the forums and shared their pictures! There is nothing more enjoyable for me than to see other babywearing and general baby photos! We plan on having a babywearing calendar offered this December for the upcoming 2006 year, so get ready and share some of your best babywearing photos to get in that calendar! Members will be voting on the top 12 babywearing photos and the winners will all get a free calendar in December! Other members can order the calendar as well. I added Attached to Baby to Overture and Google Adwords tonight to attract a few more customers and community members. I still need to make my business cards, pamphlets, and babywearing instruction PDF files, and hope to get those cranked out within the next few weeks. • Attached to Baby latest update

  Well, the past few weeks went quite smoothly as my site went live. I didn't advertise but was pleasantly surprised to have a total of 10 sales, most of which were FreeHand Mei Tais! The Amy Butler fabric seemed to be quite popular, so I will go ahead and order more! I also plan to offer a community vote on the next fabric I hope to carry for the FreeHands. When the idea of this site first occurred to me back in January, I estimated a live date of April 1, 2005. While I managed to beat that date, I still have alot to accomplish with this website, I need articles and content. I hoped to have all this done by now, but my child-care arrangements fell through. On top of that, my baby has a touch of "stranger anxiety", making it hard for me to relax when I do get child care help. Since baby is my top priority, I'm going to relax a bit on getting the site ready for an official "Grand Opening" launch - where I'll be advertising on all the major venues and having contests and such. I will slowly work on bringing new content to the site to help others learn more about the benefits of attachment parenting, babywearing, and cloth diapering. Don't worry, any sale will enjoy immediate shipping that day if ordered before 3pm - Order Fulfillment will still be top-notch! Other news - I will soon be adding Wonderoos and Wonder-Fulls to the cloth diapering offerings at Attached to Baby. I'll also slowly add more cloth diapering to the mix, but my main focus will be baby carriers. If you know of any baby carriers I currently do not carry that you would like to see, definitely let me know! I have a few more product lines I'll be bringing on soon, one of them being very luscious that I can't wait to carry!
