How often does your child go? You should have a least 1 hour between wettings in order for you child bladder to be ready. Does your child know where things go? For example does he understand where to put toys, dishes, and item around the house? Does he understand wet and dry? Does he go somewhere private to poop? If you answer yest to these question he may be ready. If you answer no, you might just have a potty chair handy, and start reading potty books to him. Dr. Sears has a potty check list that is helpful. Beth

He was always the baby that could care less if you changed his diaper or not. Even still....he'd walk around with poop in his diaper for days if I'd let him...as long as the diaper didnt fall off. ![Ick! [+o(]](../../../../emoticons/emotion-41.gif)
he goes *all the time*--I could change a diaper and with in minutes he'd be wet again. but i think the big thing is he KNOWS when he's going cause he'll tell me. he's an extremely vocal kid and pretty smart, knows where things go and puts them up. he's the kid that asks his dad if hes got his seatbelt on in the car.
thanks for all the suggestions...off to wash towels and underwear
