    Baby Carriers for Big Guys?

This is a question that I haven't found a good answer for. My wife and I got a Baby Bjorn (yes, I know, not a favorite but that's what we got) at a shower and I tried putting it on and to my surprise, it just doesn't fit. My shoulders and chest seem to be outside of average and with the straps fully extended it was still too tight. (Footnote, our baby is to be born any day so this trial was done with no child in it so maybe I'm doing something wrong, but I doubt it).

So, my question for the AttachedToBaby crowd, any recommendations on a baby carrier that will size right to fit a bigger guy?

My DH is not a huge guy but he is tall, and he likes the Ergo.  It also has a waist extender if you need that. But I am a newbie and don't know much about the huge variety of babycarriers, so maybe there's a better one out there!

I bought DH a mei tai (Kozy to be exact) with extra long straps.  He is tall and a little chubby in the waist area so the extra long straps work perfect.

I'm trying to buy DH a carrier as well...the only thing that fits him now is the Bjorn with XL straps.  Which would work better, ergo, patapum, or sutemi?

    Thanks!

For Father's Day, I had bought my DH a Sporty AngelPack in plus size (extra long straps).  He's 5'5" 230 lbs.  Fits good and he loves it!

My husband is a big guy too and Kristen at hotslings is getting a pouch made for him!  He tried a size 8 and it was way too small.  He's very broad through the chest and shoulders.  She offered to have one made to fit him in any fabric he wanted!!!  My dd is loving my hotslings right now so we have to get something so my dh can participate!
