    Wonderoos for infant?

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with Wonderoos on an infant?  We didn't start CDing DS until he was over 12 months and we loved Wonderoos!  I love the versatility of them. But DS is a chunky baby and I am wondering how they would work for a small baby/ infant.

I am due in Sept and have a prefolds and covers stash started (for the newborn stage) - but I love pockets too. I have some small Fuzzibunz but like the idea of the Wonderoos lasting a long time and not having to buy the next size up. And I have been reading that pockets don't really work until about 3 or 4 months of age.

    Any advice?

    Thanks!

Hmmm, we seem to be having a good experience with pockets.  Of course, Aiden is not your average size 2 mo old, but they have worked fine for us since the get-go.  We did try the Wonderoos at first, but he seemed to always pee while I was nursing him and it would run right out the side.  Otherwise they seemed to work fine.  They still work great for big brother, too.

    Good luck!

We started CDing with size small fuzzi bunz when my dd was about 5 weeks and around 8 pounds. THey worked fantastic! We really didn't try the wonderoos until she got a few weeks older but the did work well, just a bit bulky.

Yes you can use wonderoos on a young infant!

Officially they fit from 8 lbs. I have been using cloth diapers since my son was about 8 weeks old (10 or 11 lbs I think) and I started with wonderoos with wonderfulls hemp inserts. They worked great! They tell you that you can use the small part only of the wonderfulls insert in the beginning, but that didn't work for us, I had to use the larger part. This makes the wonderoos somewhat bulky, but after all babies don't move that much at this age so this is not really a problem.

I tried different systems, the Wonderoos were and still are the most reliable. (Fuzzi bunz are just as good, but I didn't want to buy several sizes.) I use them mostly for nighttime and when we leave the house, and a cheaper snap-in-AIO-system when we are at home.

    hope this is helpful.
