    Whats your favorite pouch?

I am looking for a new pouch, I tried one brand and it was very poorly made, so I for sure want one that is good quality. Any suggestions? Oh and around 50 dollars or less would be great!

I have 2 favorites: Hotslings and the Microfleece Peanut Shell. I personally really like the hemp Hotsling more than the other Hotslings I've tried. I also have only tried the Microfleece PS, but it's great!

We only use one pouch-- HOTSLINGS I know most people say the the leg padding really makes no difference BUT  we love it and swear by it!  DS does notice if we have pouches with no padding in them and he will not ride in an unpadded ride :)

Cooper~ Are all the hotslings padded? Would unpadded be easier for a little baby?? I guess I don't know why they are padded...

    Can you enlighten me? :)

Hotslings are my favorite.  I will bring one tomorrow to play group.  It will be way to big for you but you can see what they look like.  The padding is only on one small section for leg comfort.  I like the stretch cotton pouch.  I think it is the perfect amount of stretch to be supportive yet I don't feel the pressure points with the stretch.  I feel pressure points on regular cotton.

Ahhh- I love talking about hotslings and they don't pay me-- LOL Anyway padding on hotslings are now standard features--- the padding is nice and perfect for a small baby-- it makes a great headrest of sorts for them-- also it makes a great teether for  when using the kangaroo carry :) I wish they still had the older directions around-- Kristen really showed alot of uses for the padding BUT I do love the new directions they even have videos-- very cool

NOT AT ALL like that! I love the sateens-- ALWAYS go for the sateens!!! They rock! Make sure to get fitted for one(not 1 size fit most) -- it makes all the difference on comfort :)

How do you get fitted for them?

What makes the sateens better than the rest? (Iam so new at this)

    Jolynda,

There is a size chart that help you decide your correct size.  If I had to guess you are a size 2, maybe a 1.

    Re: Whats your favorite pouch?

I was wondering the same thing.  I know I am in between a size 2 and 3. I usually do a little dryer-action to shrink it a bit.  I am wondering if getting a HS actually custom-made/fitted will make a big difference in how it feels/wears.

Does anyone know the charge for this? Hotslings ARE addicting!  If I could get them specially made for me...I know they would be even MORE addicting!!!  My very own personal perfect Hotsling!!!

I did the dryer thing, but I think I left it a little to long! Me and Dh streched it between us and now its a great fit.

    Re: Whats your favorite pouch?

    JoLynda,

How long did you leave it in the dryer? I'm just curious, I hope it does fit great now. If not, you can do an exchange and we can try another kind of Hotslings - you have the sateen, there is also stretch twill and a few other fabrics. I'll be spending alot of time with you this coming weekend, and we can chat Hotslings! :)

    Re: Whats your favorite pouch?

It was probably at least 25 minutes. I got distracted playing with my baby, saw the clock and went uh oh!

Dh and I pulled on it and streached it a bit, as long as I am not wearing a bulky shirt it fits well now! :)
