    Where to start

i have HAD it with our 'sposies.  Every time I take them off DS he has red irritated skin around the waist band area.

We are thinking of using bumGenius! (though I plan to order 2 or 3 rumpsers AIO's)  What else do we need to get started?  can you reccomend a good way to store them till wash day?  I have seen several diffrent bags/ systems and Im confused.  (maybe TOO much research)  What should I use for washing?  Is my all free and clear ok?

Im sure as I get some answers Ill have more questions so any info you can provide is appreciated Big Smile [:D]

    Re: Where to start

I store mine in a covered diaper pail. I don't add anything to the pail. I've been doing it this way for years without a problem.
I don't know about the All Free and Clear. I just use no name detergent on ours.

We use a dry pail, too.  We use tea tree oil or deodiscs to control odor.  We have had the best luck lately with line drying everything, no smells at all!  I find a lot of the dipes dry faster, too.  We have a wet bag for travelling and just use a plastic bag when it is in the wash.  We use cloth wipes and just throw them in with the dipes.

    Re: Where to start

Just go to the store and get a regular old flip top pail. Dry pail w/ an XL bummies bag is great! Throw some baking soda in the pail and bag for moisture and odor control. If you want an affordable system and great back up system while you try out diff types, get some prefolds and bummis covers! :)
