    I love it!

I think seeing my baby sign has brought me so much joy as a mother. Jayna olny produces five signs.Kitty, nurse(milk), more, eat and cracker.
When she gets her little fist going for nurse, I just feel so lucky. She wants mama milk and I can provide. Big Smile [:D]

Yesterday she did her first sequence signing. More milk, and then later more cracker eat. I seriously was dancing around the kitchen I was so proud.

I love when she can tell me exactly what she wants!

Oh I can't wait! Logan is only one month younger. I hope he catches on soon! I try to be really consistant and my day care lady does all the signs. I can tell he knows what I'm signing but he hasn't even attempted to try one yet!

    Re: I love it!

JoLynda, I know just what you mean!!!!  Its so wonderful to see the connection happen ... just wait till you hear her first "I love you, mama"    Your heart will melt and you'll cry all daySmile [:)]

Zeke is mimicking the sign for milk every time we nurse ... because I show it to him about 10 times ... Big Smile [:D]over doing it? maybe?   But I have not seen him use it to GET me to nure him yet .... I think all my others were more like 9-10 mos. before they did that (Zeke is almost 7 mos.).  Then sometimes between 12-16 mos. they each had a sign lang. vocabulry explosion ... I can't wait.

Blessings to all you mamas helping your babes find their words (with their hands).

Wow!  Yay Jayna!  I am impressed... DS started signing back ("more") at maybe a year?  (He wanted to go down the slide "more" LOL.)  He was only interested in "more" and "all done" for a long long time.

I haven't been signing to DD very much (bad me) but I guess she is bound to pick it up eventually around here.. heh.
