So I've seen an Ulli and Inka, both seemed similiar. I've been so curious about leos. Are they much different from the stripes? Do they wear differently? Are they thicker or thinner? Any other differences or similarities that I should know? Is it worth getting a second Storch rather then my first Didy? I'm thinking an Indio red or natural.

I think they're very different. The Leos have a texture to them, a very pretty weave, while the stripes are very smooth, slick and dense. The Leos soften up quite a bit. I must admit that I didn't really use my striped Storch enough to soften it up... maybe it would have gotten soft, but it never did while I owned it.

The indios are also textured, but it's a more complex texture than the Leo. The Indio weave is more open and I think they're slightly thinner.

The Leo red and indio red are also different. The Leo red is a truer, slightly brighter red, and the indio red is a deeper, more cranberry color.

Look here for a photo with both the indio red and Leo red. And here is a photo where you can see the Leo red texture close up. I don't think the photo really captures the reds, though. Just take my word for it that the indio is a deeper red!

My Inka is very soft but dense. I suppose the age and use of a wrap changes it's qualities a bit as well.

IME:

Stripes: very dense, flat and silky like a man's dress shirt

Leo: Not so dense, softer and cushier -- more like a Didymos

I would second exactly what Poli said.  I actually didn't really like the feel of the striped Storch I got, but I returned it right away and didn't give it a chance to get softer.  I got my Leo used and it was so soft and cushy.  I've heard a lot of people say they soften up faster than the stripes.

I think they are very different . . .I think there are differences even within the stripes!  I've tried the Ulli and Inka, and Inka is extremely dense and has a certain slickness.  The Ulli I owned (I bought both all my Storchs new, BTW) was not this way . . .it was softer/cushier.  The Leo I have, however, is very soft and luscious, yet extremely foolproof.  It is my absolute favorite wrap in terms of feel/support, even compared to the Didys I've owned (various stripes, indio, jacquard).  LOVE the Leo!
