Our next NINO meeting is Feb. 6th. We are meeting at 10:15 at the Southdale Library in Edina. Our meeting topic is babywearing accessories. JoLynda will be leading her first meeting!!!!

Is there something for the bigger kids to do during the meeting or is it better to leave them home?

Oh good! I wonder about how other mom's go in and out of stores with diapers and so forth! I find I'm still having to use a stroller for pushing all the stuff I have to take with me and then carrying Logan. I can use the advice!

Children of all ages are welcome. I bring a toy bin with lots of toys in it. I will have my 4 and 2 year old with. So there will be other children to play with. The room does have a door on it so we don't have to worry about anyone leaving when moms are busy trying on carriers.

What do you think about bringing my 11 and 13 yr olds?  They go to school online so they are at home all day, and I was debating about leaving them at home or bringing them, but I would much prefer to bring them.

You can bring them. I don't have toys for that age, but I do have some child baby carriers. I will bring them, incase they want to try out babywearing.

Can the older kids get books from the library too? I mean, its fairly safe right, the library that is :)

Yes I would think they could check out the Library. We did get into a little trouble at the Penn Lake Library last summer with kids being loud and running in the Library during the meeting. Beth

Well, so much for that plan!!!

The boys were a bit less than cooperative this morning and the dh being at home is proving to be more hassle than help!!!  Grrrr!  I am really disappointed that we didn't make the NINO meeting.  Please let me know when the next one will be.  Is there a NINO website or anything?

Our next meeting is March 6th at 10 a.m. We are meeting at Little Leaners toy store in Lakeville. Everyone needs to RSVP for the meeting. The store owner is going to do an art project with the children while we have our meeting.
