What do you think about a schedule?

My DD seems to have put herself on a schedule, so now I'm thinking I will too.  I put in all our classes/regular social times in Excel and just scheduled in time for exercise.  Think it'll work?  It sound sort of regimented, but Ella is pretty regimented.  I worked around the aquacize schedule at my gym (I love it.  It's more like playing in the pool than exercise) and Ella's nap schedule.  This doesn't count my dog walking time.  I need to make sure I get in at least 3 hikes a week with them, but that is pure pleasure.  (Never noticed it helping my waist line anyway.)  I'm going to try to commit to it for 4 weeks and then reevaluate.  Do you think it's a pipe dream?

I think I'm jealous! Smile [:)]  If you can swing it, I'd definately try a schedule. I'm working towards one myself and hoping I get there soon!

Wow!  I think your plan is awesome!  How smart to try to use your time wisely.  I really admire you for your dedication.

That is awesome Hannah,  I wish i could get my boys on a schedule so that I could plan my exercise.  I really need to get to the gym but no $$ to pay for it now that I am SAHM.  So i talked to some friends and they volunteer at the local YMCA.  You volunteer once a week for 3 hours in the daycare and you get a free membership.  For an extra $5 my 4 year old gets a membership and the one year old is free.  That means before my shift in teh daycare i can drop them off, work out in the gym for free (plus cost of childcare i think $5 or $6 for the two of them) and then the boys and I can swim for freee whenever we want.  Hopefully I can get in there to volunteer.
