Unschooling is basically letting your child choose what they're
interested in/what they want to learn about and when, totally at their
own pace. Parents act as facilitators, rather than
teachers. We've seriously been considering doing it with
ds1. Actually, I guess we kind of do it already, since we answer
all his questions about everything he's interested in, but actually
unschooling would also involve looking up more details about his
questions, coming up with projects to help him learn more about
whatever he's interested in, teaching him how to find out more about
his interest, etc.
