Over this week I'll be moving this site to its very own dedicated server. We'll have practically unlimited space for your precious photos and unlimited bandwidth to view them! I'm really planning for the future here.

I'll also be updating the community with a new software update. I've had a report from a friend who registered that she couldn't post to the forums. I hope this update will fix that. It will fix some other bugs we may or may not have run into, as well as improve performance.

Finally, I'm making changes to the Attached to Baby shop so when it comes time to submitting my site to the search engines, it should rank high and hopefully eventually on the first page for many of my products. I'm sure that will take lots of work, so I'm happy I'm starting in early on this. I am hoping by the end of May that the site will be ready for advertising for the store. If that goes well, then I'll start advertising for the community. Remember, as soon as we hit 500 members, the sooner one of you will win a gorgeous Oopa Baby sling of your choice! The more you participate in the community, the more you increase your odds.

Also remember our April Member sale has extended to the end of May. A few of you have taken advantage of this, and I can't have big sales like this often due to manufacturer agreements, but I consider this my "Opening Site Sale".

Finally, I have a Live Person support installed on the site and I have one of the members lined up to help out with Customer Service with this. I can't announce who it is yet until we're ready though. I am just testing this out and not ready to actually use it, I am leaning towards a less expensive option - the one on the site now costs $50 per month per person and I hope to have up at least 2-3 people on support to start out and up to 5 later on. So obviously that's too expensive, so as soon as I can get a hold of the cheaper Live Support software I'll use that. But this feature is one that will set Attached to Baby apart from other babywearing shops - personalized babywearing consultants on hand to answer questions on choosing the right baby carrier, how to wear your carrier and so on. I'll give you your own business cards to pass around to people locally if they like your carriers so you can make money if they come to the store too and list you as a referral.
