Jacquard is the art of weaving a pattern into the fabric. The manufacture of this fabric is quite expensive and has nearly disappeared. Didymos slings woven in Jacquard-style are particularly smooth and the coloured pattern appears inverted on the backside.

Jacquard blue leaves is beautiful!
I recently got the blue leaves jacquard and it's a truly amazing wrap. It's very thin - you can see light through it! But it is so supportive it is no problem to wrap a heavy toddler with it. The blue is one of the most vibrant blues I've ever seen and the orange color is exactly the color of leaves in Autumn. Absolutely stunning! With use, it gets very soft. I have quite a few wraps and blue leaves is one of my ultimate favorites. |
