Not necessarily. There are four categories. According to the original rules stated, whomever uploaded the most pics in the mei tai category would win 100 dollars. Whomever uploaded the most pics in the ring sling category would win 100 dollars. The same goes for the pouches and wraps categories. If one person uploaded the most in two of those categories, they would get 200 dollars. The only way one person could get all 400 dollars worth was if they uploaded the most pictures in all the categories. Does that help?

Right, so one person could win all 4 certificates, that's not against the rules, right?

And I read another thread, and totally agree that duplicates and crappy pics shouldn't count. What a waste of space.

According to the rules, yes, one person could win them all if they had the most pics in each category loaded.  The issue involved I believe is simply that some people didn't keep to the spirit of what they had in mind for this contest and just loaded the same pictures a bunch of times and loaded very similar pictures...instead of loading lots of different baby carrier pictures

Haven't heard how things are going yet, so I hope things are okay for you Angela and that this crazy mess is working itself out for you.  I still can't get over the nerve...but, some people never cease to amaze me at what they will do.

I have to say, though, the original rules did state quantity and made no mention of quality. I don't, however, think the uploading of the same picture over and over again was right. It was pictures...plural. Not just one.

I disagree. I mean the point was to get properly tagged, helpful pics in gallerys so that people could see the wraps in action, KWIM? I mean, if I search for wrap and I get some crappy pics that would be dissappointing and I probably woudn't come back.

Anyway, I hope everything works out, Angela, and you keep having such awesome contests!!!

I understand, but that's not what was stated in the rules originally, that's all I'm saying. Still, whomever this woman is sure isn't doing right. I hope that if it does go to court the judge just laughs at her.

All I can say is that I am SHOCKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm so sorry to read this Angela.  I always thought the babywearing world was a lovely supportive community - but it's all going very strange indeed. I hope everything works out in your favour. Lots of hugs and warm wishes to you.
