Attached to Baby

I live very close to Rollinsville, CO (5 miles away).  I want to go hiking with my husband and son in a couple weeks and my moby seems to go O.K. under the padded straps of the hiking backpack, but I have to scrunch up the (moby) straps to get the big backpack on.  So I am on the lookout for a new baby carrier.  I would like one that is front carry, light weight straps, nothing that criss-crosses in back (perferably),  I really liked the way Beco looked but on closer inspection I see that it is also padded on the straps. 

It will be an overnight trip, so we need to haul a lot.  Any great ideas?

HI! I am no expert, but just thought I would toss some ideas your way What about a pocket Kozy or if you want lighter weight straps, what about a solarveil type of Mei tai? I was thinking with the pocket Kozy that would give you some extra room to put or carry things and you would be able to tie around where your backpack straps are possibly? Or with your wrap-have you tried doing a side carry or cradle where you the wrap is only on one of your shoulders.? These are just ideas that came to mind after I read your post and thought I would just toss them out there to maybe help with some ideas for you!  Hope you and your family have a GREAT time hiking, it sounds wonderful!
