    How old for front carrier?

My daughter is almost four months.  We mostly use the Native Carrier but I bought an Ergo Carrier.  How old (or what size does she have to be before she can be front carried, facing me without infant insert?  I'm interested in the mei tais too but she seems too little for her legs to straddle me yet.  Because I'm going back to work with her I want something easy, that she can be alert, nurse or sleep in without much hassle.  I'm not good with the ring slings.  The more simple the better!  She we also have a bjorn which she likes but I worry about her "hanging" in it.  Whenever I take her out of it her feet are cold like she's not getting enough circulation.  She does however like facing both in and out and sleeps well in it.  Not to mention it's very easy.  In the native she fusses/cries when I put her in but usually falls asleep eventually.  It would be nice to find a carrier she actually enjoys being in that is comfortable for both of us.  I assume there will be more otions when she is a little bigger and maybe she will like carriers better when she can be in different positions besides hanging in the bjorn or the cradle position in the native.  Any feedback on any of these topics would be appreciated. Thanks!
