This Saturday, we are heading for our very first family vacation (other than holiday family get-togethers) since the birth of our daughter! In fact, since I was on bedrest, probably the first vacation in 3 1/2 years. We'll be doing the usual Florida Orlando/Disney vacation with our 3 year old daughter Satori.
I must admit that I am tempted to buy a stroller for the trip, but also will definitely be packing a few baby slings. Satori is 3 years old, but still rather petite at barely 26 pounds. She loves to run, yet needs that snuggle/touching time, she's a very tactile person. So I'll bring a silk Sakura Bloom sling to turn the heads and work as a comfortable quick up/down carrier, and probably an ERGO Baby Carrier for back carries, as it has that handy backpack and front pack that come in handy when out and about.
